                         Chasse Dance Company's mission is to give children a positive and fun way to express themselves through the art of movement while instilling self-confidence, respect and discipline in each dancer. Their philosophy is to encourage participation by teaching dance in a positive environment.

Ms. Bianca's Bio

                         Bianca Dominguez has over 25 years of dance experience and training. She received her dance training in her native New Orleans, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from Dillard University. Bianca began dancing at the age of six, studying ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, tap and baton twirling. She received extensive training in ballet and jazz at Cynthia McKenna Academy of Dance and pursued the dance and majorette team in elementary and high school.

 

         Bianca was chosen cocaptain of the majorette team in elementary and junior year of high school, followed by Captain in her senior year. Ms. Dominguez furthered her dance experience by forming a small dance group and performing at talent shows, fundraisers and other community events. In college, Ms. Dominguez auditioned for the dance team and was selected as a member of the Dillard University Diamonds, where she began her experience as a choreographer and assistant dance teacher. She used her experience as a choreographer and dance instructor to land her first teaching position at the age of nineteen at Southern University at New Orleans. She taught hip hop, modern and jazz dance at Southern University’s summer youth performing arts program.

 

          She also studied dance at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York where she focused on ballet and sharpening her technical skills. She later auditioned for Dillard University’s production of the, The Wizard of Oz, where she landed several roles as Tornado Dancer, Quadling Dancer, Emerald City Ballet, and flying monkey dancer. Ms. Dominguez was featured in a music video and has received several awards and trophies throughout her dance career. She recently taught dance to youth at the Batiste Cultural Arts Academy (BCAA) in New Orleans, where she was selected as the head dance instructor for the program.

 

In 2014, Ms. Dominguez taught hip-hop and ballet classes to youth at Camp Expressions Summer Performing Arts Program in Mableton, GA. At the end of the eight-week camp, she put together a dance recital with eight dance numbers and five costume changes. Ms. Dominguez is currently teaching ballet, hip-hop, modern, contemporary and lyrical dance classes. She is accepting new students of all levels of dance experience and background
